Thought leaders hard at work

Firebrand has been developing innovative services for the publishing community for over 35 years. During that time, we have heard a lot of ideas and theories about what helps books sell. Some of those ideas have worked, and some have not.

We all know that there are plenty of ideas, but little evidence that they will have an impact. So, we formed Firebrand Research Labs in 2016 to test theories that sound like a good idea, but lack the necessary empirical evidence to show that a technique will actually work in the marketplace.

Our first project under the Research Labs banner is called “Increasing Sales and Visibility with Keywords”. You can find out more about that research project by following the link below.

Do you have an idea for a research project that would be useful? Do you have a burning question that you think affects publishers and is worthy of study? Submit the idea to us and we’ll consider running a research project to look into it deeper.
